If for any reason it is impossible to send biomaterial through your primary care doctor, or if you live in any other city or country, you can send biomaterial via courier or parcel service using the method of “Dry blood drop” by yourself.
To make a request fill out the Order “Dry Blood Drop” Kit form using the blue button below.
If you would like to order more than one test kit, please submit this form for each person individually.

Sample collection and transportation via the “Dry blood drop” method.
The kit includes:
- One aluminium foil bag
- One test card
- One paper sleeve for the test card
- One alcohol wipe
- Two automatic safety lancets
- One band-aid
- Two barcode stickers
Step-by-step instruction on how to use the kit to obtain your blood sample:
Drinking enough fluids before the blood collection is highly recommended!
- Leave the kit to reach room temperature.
- Wash hands with soap in warm water and dry them.
- Remove the card from the card sleeve. Tear off the “KEEP THIS” part of the card and keep it for
your reference. - Stimulate blood flow by waving your hand down for approximately 20 seconds.
- Wipe the ring finger with an alcohol wipe and let it air dry.
- Prick the tip of the ring finger with a lancet*.
- Remove the transparent safety cap of the lancet.
- Place the smaller end of the lancet against the side of the middle fingertip.
Press the lancet firmly into the finger until you hear a click**.
- Drip one large blood drop in each circle on the card.
Squeeze the finger lightly and allow a large hanging blood drop to form.
Excessive massaging or squeezing of the puncture site must be avoided! Be patient! Place the
hanging droplet above the circle on the specimen area. Let the drop, but not the finger, come in
contact with the paper. Repeat procedure placing single drops in all circles.
Do not touch the specimen area of the card! Check the backside of the card if the specimen matches the acceptable blood spot (see instructions on the inside of the package of CHROMATEST).
At least 50% of the card circles should be filled in properly.
Please use the additional lancet (included in the kit) if needed. - Attach the band-aid to cover the tip of the ring finger.
Write the date of sampling and your age in full years on the card. - Carefully insert the card into the card sleeve without touching the specimen area and let it dry for
3 hrs at room temperature. Additional heat sources must not be used to dry the sample.
Then place the sleeve with the card into an aluminium foil bag and close it tightly.
Do NOT remove the drying agent inside the aluminium foil bag! - Place the aluminium foil bag into the paper envelope.
Store at a temperature no higher than 25°C and avoid direct sunlight.
Send it to the address you received with the CHROMATEST sample collection kit. - Keep the tear-off flap of the card with your bar code until you receive your CHROMATEST
results.
*- Do not use the lancet if its plastic container is damaged or broken. Lancets are for single use only.
**- Used lancets can be safely disposed of with general waste unless otherwise provided by local law.
